PN-003: Unauthorised Competence
Share
PERSONNEL NOTICE / PN-003
Employees are reminded that demonstrating unusual competence may result in the immediate allocation of additional duties without warning, training or corresponding adjustment to remuneration.
Personnel possessing specialist knowledge should disclose it only when absolutely necessary. Protective measures include frowning at unfamiliar spreadsheets, asking where the printer paper is kept and occasionally saying that a task “sounds more like an IT thing.”
Completing work early may be interpreted as evidence of spare capacity. Completed tasks should therefore be retained briefly before submission to preserve operational expectations.
Management thanks all personnel for their continued average performance.
